At Jurlique, the rose has always been a symbol of our heritage. Grown on our biodynamic* farm in South Australia, our roses, including our exclusive Jurlique Rose and Intense Rose, are carefully nurtured in harmony with nature, hand-harvested at their peak, and transformed into high-performing, naturally effective skincare.
In 2025, we had the honour of sharing this story on the global stage as proud sponsors of the World Rose Convention in Japan. More than a milestone, it was a moment to reflect on our heritage, celebrate the beauty of slow, purposeful cultivation, and connect with a global community that values the rose as deeply as we do.
The World Rose Convention
Held every three years, the World Rose Convention brings together experts, growers, horticulturalists, and rose enthusiasts from over 30 countries. Last year, it took place in Fukuyama, known as the City of Roses. A thousand rose seedlings were planted by citizens in the post-war reconstruction period following World War II. Today, more than a million roses bloom across the city.
This inspiring setting provided the perfect backdrop to celebrate roses from around the world, with the convention serving as a platform for sharing knowledge, advancing rose research, and setting new standards for excellence in the world of rose cultivation.
Sharing Our Rose Expertise
As sponsors of the 2025 World Rose Convention, we had an opportunity to share our rose story and unique cultivation techniques with a global community of respected rose growers and experts.
From biodynamic* farming to our proprietary extraction process, Jurlique is one of the only skincare brands in the world to oversee the entire journey of the rose from seed to skin. Our Farm Manager, Cherie Hutchinson, represented us at the event, speaking to more than 200 attendees about our unique growing methods and the artistry involved in transforming fresh petals into skin-loving botanical actives.

One of these, the Gertrude Jekyll Rose, was honoured as the 2025 entry into the World Rose Hall of Fame at the World Rose Convention.
Each bloom used in our exclusive edition was hand-harvested at its peak, capturing its full vitality and delicate scent. The beautiful design pays tribute to our farm-grown Rosa gallica hybrids, featuring petals in vibrant yellow, pink, and red hues.
